CLASS ENROLLMENT |
|
|
|
Class enrollment has not been smooth this
year. Mr. Jackson will be working with the counselors to
re-enroll students that were accidentally dropped. Read below
for some clarifications:
-
MARCHING BAND P.E. IS 7TH PERIOD:
Several students were dropped because they were told it was 6th
period.
-
COLLEGE CAREER AND PLANNING (CCP):
This class does NOT replace your music classes. Music students
will be able to complete a waiver form, take it during Tutorial,
or in the summer following your freshmen year.
-
IB MUSIC APPRECIATION: Students must enroll
for band and/or orchestra first. Students are put into the
class after school begins. (Juniors and Seniors only)
-
CONCERT BAND / STRING ORCHESTRA:
Freshmen automatically begin in these classes unless they have
checked off a minimum of 30 proficiencies and meet the
musicianship score requirements to qualify (see above).
These two classes are THE NEXT STEP after middle school wind
ensemble and advanced orchestra. Wind Ensemble and Chamber
Orchestra are not the next step for a developing musician.
For additional information or questions,
e-mail Mr. Jackson from this direct link:
