The Dance Pageantry is a competitive performing team on campus. Members perform in rallies and with the marching band (Triton Marching Alliance) in the fall. In winter and spring months, pageantry members compete in indoor competitions hosted by the Winter Guard Association of Southern California, an affiliate of WGI (Winter Guard International).  The Pageantry has been competing in the Regional A classification for two years.

Students interested in Dance Pageantry should enroll for the class through your counselor after auditions. Items to note:

  • You receive P.E. Credit

  • The class meets zero period in the fall months; after school in winter

  • Beginners are welcome!

  • The Pageantry, while not limited to these numbers, typically accepts 12 - 20 members. In all cases, qualified members at all ability levels are accepted, and larger team numbers are expected in the future.

Dance Pageantry members learn:

  • Dance technique – jazz, ballet, and more

  • Equipment skills – props, flags, and rifles

  • Performance skills – solo, duet, and ensemble presentations
