      New York Carnegie Hall Performance Trip

GENERAL INFORMATION
The SCHS Orchestra has been chosen to perform in Carnegie Hall in March, 2008.

 

 

WHEN:

March 22 through March 27, 2008

 

 

WHERE:

New York City, NY

 

 

WHO:

The trip is designed for students in the Chamber Orchestra, but students from the Concert Orchestra will be allowed to travel if there is an opening in their section.

 

 

COST:

Approximately $1700.  As the itinerary is defined, the final cost will be posted.  Details will be completed by November 15.

 

 

PERFORMANCES:

Two performances are scheduled.  The first performance is in the world famous Carnegie Hall, and the second performance is an outdoor public performance.

 

 

DEPOSIT:

The non-refundable deposit of $400 is due Wednesday, October 17.  Your initial deposit will reserve a travel spot. 

 

 

PAYMENT SCHEDULE:

October 17 - $400 non-refundable deposit

November 7 - $300

December 5 - $300

January 9 - $300

February 6 - $300

March 5 - $300  or remaining balance

 

 

CHAPERONES:

A parent TMAC volunteer will determine with the chaperones with the directors.  Chaperones are parents that travel with the students at all times.
