2007-08 Membership Costs

 

The SCHS music program, just like the middle school programs, charges a fee for the materials you use through out the year.  This is not the same as the transportation fee or the triton booster club fee. 

No student is excluded from the program because he/she cannot afford to pay the ensemble fee, but no student participates for free either. The entire ensemble team has to share the burden of costs to meet the ensemble group goals.  The TMAC registrar has information on alternative work or fundraising programs for members that communicate their need to the director.

As stated in the program philosophy, members are part of a team, and students are expected to participate in group fundraising efforts.  Students that wish to pay a "buy out" may do so.  Students that participate in group fundraising efforts will be allowed to travel, perform, and receive the benefits provided by the group account.

JAZZ BAND

Jazz Band fee is $100.  This fee covers home game meals, music, specialized instruction (clinicians), festival entry fees, etc.  There is no transportation fee or TBC fee for Jazz Band members.

 

PAGEANTRY (winter)

The Winter Pageantry fee is $300.  This fee covers music, show design, props, instruction, choreography, and entry fees.  There is no transportation fee or TBC fee for Winter Pageantry members.  Details are printed in the ensemble packet.
