COMPARISON AND CONCLUSION
Both pieces use plucked string instruments as melody, while the harmony is purely percussion. The virtuosos also employ improvisation to give vivacity and variation to their music. Even though these pieces use some improvisation, they still keep control as the tempo gradually increases and the musicians of each group stay together. Both styles have been passed down from “master to disciple” without notation, until recently. The skill that each musical group has professed in their music has drawn crowds who witness the spread of international music to all ends of the earth.
