AUDITION / TESTING INFORMATION

No Audition Required  |  All students are welcome into the program by enrolling into one of the following classes:

·         1st period Band

·         3rd period Orchestra

·         Marching Band (except drummers)

Testing Required  |  Membership in the following ensembles is determined by the score on the Standards Testing.  This is not an audition, only a test of what the student already knows.

·         Chamber Orchestra

·         Wind Ensemble

8th grade students DO NOT need to test UNLESS they wish to test into the Chamber Orchestra or Wind Ensemble.  Your test score will also determine your seating position in the class you are assigned.  If you would like to see if you are qualified for the Wind Ensemble or Chamber Orchestra, make an appointment with Mr. Jackson by clicking here:
